The Aging in Place Leadership Team is a collaboration of more than twelve local and regional agencies and organizations, which emerged during the 2010-2013 New River Valley Livability Initiative. The group is dedicated to helping create lifespan friendly communities. Any interested group or individual is invited to participate. The New River Valley Agency on Aging can be contacted to learn more about the Aging in Place initiatives in the New River Valley and to answer questions regarding the materials and resources provided.
